About Recycled Down
Recycled down is derived from post-consumer or post-industrial sources. It involves collecting used down products, such as old jackets or bedding, and processing them to extract the down feathers. These feathers are then cleaned, sterilized, and sorted to remove any impurities. The resulting recycled down can be reused as insulation material in new products, reducing the need for virgin down and minimizing waste.

Down's resilience and bounce come from the oil and fats in each filament. The process of washing and cleaning used down doesn't affect its durability or warmth. We separate brittle down clusters, keeping only strong ones with high moisture and oil content for recycled down. When properly processed, recycled down is just as good as virgin down in terms of quality.
